Rooster Plaque, Bronze

In the 16th C the Nicola family established a great fort Castle near Toulouse. At the entrance they mounted at the top of very tall gates a metal plaque of hand wrought design of a rooster as Arms of the family. This carefully cast bronze reproduction from the 500 year old original reveals the superb details of both the front and back.
